The students at 5th-6th level in CPR Los Castaños (Granada) while were working the project "Countries around the world", have created a London guide.

It's an great work where you can find useful information about some interesting places to visit: location, maps, photos, timetable, prices...

The students at CPR Los Castaños in Pitres (Granada) have done an interesting work about a city that they chose in English class: writing short sentences, photos and recorded audio.

The used the App photo cut and fotobabble and finally the result was a talking photo.

Saint Patrick's Day

Saint Patrick's Day is a cultural holiday celebrated annually on 17 March in Ireland and many countries around the world. People wear "shamrocks" and "green" clothes or accessories this day.

In CPR Los Castaños (Granada) at pre-school class celebrated it last month. 

Children were learning Saint Patrick's story, drawing pictures about "Leprechauns" and decorating the classroom. Everyone wore some green.

Famous people talking

The students at  CPR Los Castaños (Granada) have done an interesting activity "Proyecto Celebrities"

Alberto Molina, the English teacher tell it us:

1º He asked for their favorite people. The STUDENTS chosen a celebritie.

2º They were looking for information using internet. They had to write some sentences introducing their characters.

3ºThey took a photo and used the App Morpho with the Ipad.

4º The results were amazing. They made a talking 3D face.

Christmas cards in CPR Los Castaños

Today, we share a work  made last month from CPR Los Castaños (Granada). 

The students were writing and drawing Christmas cards for exchanging with other pupils of different countries in eTwinning Project.

PODCASTING AT CPR LOS CASTAÑOS

Hi, everybody.

Year 4, 5 and 6 CPR "Los Castaños" have recorded some podcasts with English talks. 

First of all, we made the talks in the class. After that we worked in pairs to record using the app SPREAKER.

EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES AT CPR LOS CASTAÑOS

Hi, everybody.

CPR "Los Castaños" have celebrated the European Day of Languages through an Etwimming Project. 

This project consists on an exchanges of "Greeting Cards" between the countries which are partners of  it. These were written in the mother tongue and English. 

Schools from most of European countries have taken part in it. We have received in Pitres cards from England, France, Portugal, Sweden, Island, Ukraine, Slovenia, Poland, Italy, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, etc.

After that, we have been working on looking for information about these countries and each pupil has done a small presentation to their partners of this country.

Of course, we have also sent our "Greeting Cards" to schools.

From Busquistar to the world

The students at CPR Los Castaños in Busquistar (Granada) have done a virtual trip around the world where they had to travel to visit one important monument. 

They have found out about the transports that could use also timetables, places and tickets prices.

Bilingual Kamishibai

From a small village, Busquistar (Granada), the students of 4th and 6th grade, have been  preparing a kamishibai to celebrate Book Day.

They wrote the stories, translated the texts into English and drew all the pictures.

Finally, the played the bilingual kamishibai.
